I guess my initial thoughts are the same as everyone else but there is one thing that I am most excited about. In Mountain Lion, if a page in Safari was super loaded with stuff, the smooth inertial scrolling would stutter. It no longer does. Same with Mail in case of huge threads of emails.

This is a freaking huge improvement which, in itself had been an entire new OS version. (Ok, I exaggerated there a bit but if you have felt it too, you would know what I am talking about.)

glad it’s free, otherwise $20 for each dot release gets rather expensive considering this is 8 or 9. I think the next will likely be charged, that said they’ve got enough cash reserves to give it free forever…

Yeah, tested this in stuck page ( the kind that has an infinite loop )

I guess they put the scrolling in a different processor thread. Very nice touch.

Mavericks is awesome, so man little tiny details were improved and fixed… love it. Steve would be proud.

Thank you apple.

P.S. time to get back to learn coding

I really doubt they can ever go back to release them for a price after they’ve made it free now.. Perhaps that’s wishful thinking ;)
