You’ve only been here a month why are you giving up?
Hold your horses fella and wait just there….....do not give up (I presume that’s what you are talking about). Give it a little more time if you can – there are times when I do not sell anything and then some kind soul takes pity on me and buys something. Go on give it a chance!
”...and thanks for the fish”, dolphins said.
Joking aside – although it’s only up to you whether you stay or leave – you can at least consider staying a bit longer. If you’re discouraged by the lack of sales, I can only suggest you to wait a bit more. Or do what I (and a friend of mine) did – forget about AudioJungle, then come back a few months later and discover you have some $$$ in your balance. That can motivate you like nothing else
Before you go, have a look at this picture, Green_Eyes:
As the others have suggested, it’s up to you whether you stay or leave but having joined in Feb 2013 and quitting in March is not really giving it much of a chance. Expecting instant results in a marketplace with so many items is unrealistic.
Are you marketing your profile or just expecting miracles to happen?
I had a total of 5 sales in my first year. Did I delete my account? No. This year I decided to be more proactive, add more tracks, promote via YouTube, twitter etc and I tripled my sales in the first 2 months.
As Urbazon suggested maybe stop focussing on AJ for a while, keep adding songs but don’t focus on hoping to log in one day and see 100 sales.
You just have to be patient and work hard. Good quality music will get sales. As already stated, it’s a marathon!
