As we say in Russia: there is nothing more permanent than a “temporary”

As the ‘current rating system has always been a temporary fix’, please please change that ‘temporary fix’ to a ‘temporary removal’ until you have something you guys are satisfied with as the ratings system is doing more harm than good.

Let’s check what ratings really mean! Someone just has invested 1$ to rate my bestseller with 1 star. Looking back – it’s interesting that usually 1 star ratings receive good, popular sounds not those worse. For me the best rating is simply press ‘Like’when you like it and nothing more
I think, as was said above, somebody wants stop selling the track. He give 1 star to be the one (or the last) who has it. It’s sad. But Life is going on! And we are able to write more good music!
Nice, just got a low rating on a track on my other non-exclusive account,,,well there goes that song. The time and effort I put into it now probably for nothing.
The authors have been asking to have this useless rating system removed forever now. The line of communication from staff lately is good and all, but if you want real improved relations between Envato and authors just give us something, anything, it’s easy. Not just talk but actually do something. If you can’t remove this silly rating system at least explain why.

Anyone one? At least an explanation of why the rating system can’t just be immediately removed from A.J.?

The ratings system as it stands is just visual noise, or worse a pointless deterrent to a buyer even bothering to preview a track. For the life of me I cannot understand why anyone would listen to, and then buy a track only to decide it wasn’t good. Seems like a buyers remorse meter to me.
I don’t even pay attention to the ratings. I’d love to see them gone so buyers do not either.

Please a solution to this!!!
Solutions:
This tab is public, anyone can see it, but only buyers of the item who can add or edit testimonial. A bunch of words from happy customers is much better than just one-click rating system. Testimonial is more communicative than star rating.
