Hey guys,

What do you guys use to allow you to use non web safe fonts. I googled it and found something called sIFR which replaces HTML text on the fly with dynamically generated Flash text, but if you don’t want it to be converted to flash, then what do you use?

Any tips or links to some tutorials or anything is much appreciated.

Thank, Scott

Does it have to do with true type family, http://www.truefontfamily.com/ ? But you can’t use this in commercial projects without buying a license.

Can anyone point me in an open source solution?

Check out this article for font embedding using @font-face (css).

Other solutions are typekit, typeface.js, cufon, and other similar JavaScript solutions.

edit: fixed link
