Really? This site can’t add line breaks for organizing paragraphs? Come on Envato, even notepad can do that.

I mean when I press the enter button to make a line break this site ignores it and this sentence is proof if you try and quote it.

You just need to hit enter twice for a new paragraph..

This line is proof of that. A new paragraph always skips a line so it makes sense to hit enter twice.

If you want
to simply do this,
use a break tag. :)

I’ll

Give

It

A

Try

but

its

kind

of

weird

that

a

advanced

would

have

trouble

with

such

a

basic

thing.

Why

can’t

it

do

single

line

breaks

on

its

own?

Why

double?

Oh btw, did you read the part about the break tags? They work just fine. Though to answer your question again, double lines are the standard for new paragraph breaks. There was probably no need to allot precious developer resources to programming single line breaks on the forum, because (i) there’s no real pragmatic need for them, and (ii) they could tend to be abusively used to purposely disorganize threads to make moot points. :)
