Though I love my name in all of it’s lowercase-ness, but I would prefer to have my capitalized nickname without having to create a new account. I was just wondering if you developers would be able to impalement a “nickname” field in the new redesign. I know that I’m not the only one who would prefer to have their name, or an alias of it, display instead of their username.

If you have username with all caps, still you can login with all lowercase. I feel this is how most of the sites works and so there is no real need for nickname.
