Brandon: You can’t actually download it, you need to buy it in a box, it’s on 12 DVDs if I recall correctly. Once you buy it and register it on the NI website, there actually IS a link to download the ISOs, I guess in case you lose the discs or something? Cool option, but would definitely take forever!
Anyway, yeah, this is a great price for great software. Almost definitely means that Komplete 9 is coming in a couple of months, but even if you buy this and then pay the upgrade price for version 9, you will probably wind up paying close to the same as if you waited for 9 (maybe you’ll pay like $50 more possibly).

Go for the “Ultimate” version. WELL worth the upgrade. Plus, it comes on a handy-dandy USB hard drive that makes installation quick and easy.

It might be of interest but when i upgraded from 7 to 8, i waited about a month before 8 was released and NI were doing a 50 percent reduction on all upgrades, so i got Komplete 8 for about £90.00 pounds.
