News Theme! Yay or Nay?

Even though you were aiming for minimalistic, this, is WAY too simplistic. It’s something I could throw together in like 10 minutes.

ThemeForest is looking for new, unique, and eye catching themes. This is just some text with borders. There’s no real flair to it. Nothing that will make someone say “Oh, I want that theme!”

but it’s not meant to be a amazingly sexy theme with graphics and galleries, but a basic (minimalistic?) theme that has loads of functionality.

In order for a theme to be minimalistic, it should have great visual hierarchy, finely tuned colors, precise layout design. In other words, the “sexy graphics” should be compensated for amazing UX.

Not a chance of that being accepted, sorry.
