Native Instruments leaked a few demo tracks of a new synth. They revelaed that the name of the synth begins with the letter M.https://soundcloud.com/nativeinstruments/sets/a-revolution-is-coming
Not much to go on yet, but curious as to what you all think of the demos.

Not impressed whatsoever. The demos are horribly mixed and compressed/distorted in a very unmusical way. Very gritty and sterile sounding. Reaktor can sound like that in a heartbeat with almost minimal fx processing.
Well, to be honest – no, i don´t like it at all …
NI created many much better soundings synths (I very often use Razor, Absynth, Massive ).... maybe there will be something revolutionary in the interface or controls, but the demos does not shows any revolution to me
Keep on rocking and create some great music!
REVOLUTION, huh? I don’t think so
Tbh I just stick to Omnisphere and Massive. You can also get a lot out of some of Logic’s stock synths.
The email I was sent yesterday from NI really didn’t give much away.
If I had the money I’d go Analogue!
Ha! Well glad it wasn’t just me. I didn’t hear anything in the demos that really interested me or that I didn’t think I could do already with the gear I already have. The market is so saturated with synths that revolutionary better be just that. Perhaps there is something we can not see or hear yet, but I would think they would want to make the big new thing obvious in the demos and, frankly, I just didn’t hear it.
Thanks for the feedback all!
Um – got the email – ok – went to Soundcloud – oh dear – did I miss something? The people who wrote the headlines obviously did not listen to the audio demos first. Disappointed – not really – I’m glad that Omnisphere, Alchemy and Sylenth1 are still sitting in my VST instrument rack!
Learn how to use Synth Maker or Max and just make you own custom synth I have two that I made, one modular and the other additive.
