Really Cool!!! Only bad point so far is that when you press the next or previous buttons, it has that flash fade thing, but it changes after the transition is completeEDIT : Also… where’s the envato drop-down menu… hmm???

It’s really hard to notice but the mouse in a not very visible manner states the Envato logo – click that to reveal a modul window with the usual list of sites.
Again possibly a navigational fail?

I think it looks really really awesome on the whole
I agree though that the mouse button is definitely a little less than self evident.. maybe make the Envato lettering on it a light shade of green or something
If only to catch a little attention..

Collis? Collis designs the websites last time I checked…maybe there’s more designers these days.Derek Herman also seems to be behind the Envato designs.
I did read in a interview with Derek that he mentioned something about Collis was doing the Graphic design work on his own. Derek was just doing the wordpress magic for envato. He’s the wordpress ninja

...and how ironic that the first article for WORK AWESOME is HOW TO PREPARE FOR A LAYOFF – hahaha too funny.Yeah, that’s a little sad. As soon as you’re laid off, you’re automatically transferred from workawesome to freelanceswitch.

Hey guys – just to clarify – Collis does the designs and then passes them off to Derek for coding. However, they just hired a second designer who will begin to help out with the workload.
It must be hard for the CEO to run a company and design everything.

True – but I can see how it would be incredibly useful – in this case Collis is the the ideal designer – one who is in perfect sync with the business goals of the project, development specs, parent brand requirements, etc. No waiting for feedback, no unnecessary rabbit trails, no designer/director misunderstandings. Time management has to be a strain, but it really does streamline the process.
