Good point Luca – I was wondering the same.

I’m pretty sure they would be considered background vocals :)

I’d better brush up on my Do Re Mi’s then. :) I believe a shot of whiskey helps with them high notes.

Yes maybe they could be this, so I’m going to edit them ;)

Luca – I just attributed mine to vocal samples.

Even if they are actually choir samples I think that the category is about the role in the track, that may be to create harmonies and background. I think that “vocal sample” could be when you use voices like “here we go!” or “Bass!” or “Hey Deejay!” just before the refrain or stuff like this :D

For now I set all my choirs to background harmony, and wait for an official explanation :)

Is there anything a shot of whisky doesn’t help with?

Yes, I’m wondering the same thing about what constitutes “background vocal.” I only have a couple of songs with actual lyrical vocals, but several where I’m just going “ooooo” or “ahhhh” in an atmospheric sort of way. I guess that applies, but it would be interesting to get more detail on it.

In any case, thanks for adding the additional attribute!
