I am getting this twitter message few times before… i thought those are spam… so i deleted those message. But this time one of our Envato Marketplace Author send me that same type of twitter message with a link to me. Now i am confused… :confused:

Message is something like this….

“Hey this user is saying horrible things about you… tinyurl.com/bmamal6”

Should i click that link to see what just happened in there…. ?

Guys if you know about this then please help…. Thanks. :)

Yes it seems to be a spam message going round accounts.

Do not log in to the fake twitter it sends you to. Before logging in to your account, check it says “http://twitter.com” in your address bar, or else they will steal your Twitter credentials.

Yep, got two also. One was from a big Photoshop tutorial Site, wich made me very nervous. I think this Accounts got hacked.

I received it too, just forget about it. Contact support? this one made me giggle, what support? Twitter support? :D If you meant Envato then why would you think is Envato business how authors behave outside the marketplaces? You sir are hilarious sometimes. :)

You may reveal the name of the author or may not, it is your choice, but remember that it is not his or her fault. Remember that sometimes even respectable people can have troubles because they clicked a link. :) I had a spam problem with my email once. Shit happens.

Anyway, move on, nothing to see there. :P
