My Song on Youtube reaches 200,000 Hits

I’m not doing so well here at the moment, (probably need to post more music!) but my song ‘You’re my hero’ has reached over 200,000 hits today so it’s a happy day!!! It’s here if anyone wants a listen!!! [link removed]

It is actually unusual to have over 200,000 views of an original song on youtube and it might have been of interest to others, shame.

I wonder how long it will take for this notice to be removed.

There’s a bit of a fine line with self-promotion. We don’t have a problem with authors getting excited when they reach certain achievements, it’s just when those posts start to link to the Marketplaces or elsewhere that we have to look at removing the links. Thanks!

Thank you both, it was a little surprising the way it just took off but I have retagged it 3 times and each time it has made a HUGE difference, I think tagging and this might apply in Audiojungle too, is extremely important. You must use every tag available – don’t just do a few, it really does help. x
