Hi Kai-ser
Would Airset fit the needs for such a project? As far as i remember there was the possibility to create a “community”/puplic web computer to share files and stuff?!
Keeping in mind that each user gets only 1GB of space, I think that Airset might just work. If additional space is needed, you can buy additional 5GB chunks for $2 a month.
You could create a different “web computer” or group for each project, which would be shared by all involved in the project. Airset would take care of the hosting of files, discussion through a forum, and to do lists where members can volunteer for tasks.
Might be worth a try.
Adrian
well i’d be down with it if others would like to try. I’d also be more then down to giving the projects to the charity project.
all right…let’s give it a try.
I’ve just created the “Audiojungle Charity Project”-Web Computer.
Everyone who wants to participate has to be an airset member, but signing up is pretty easy and takes two minutes.
In order to add you to the projects member list, i need your email adress.
You’ll get an invitation email and the AJCP -Web Computer will appear in your Web Computer/Network list on your personal airset desktop.
This is just a first step, actually i don’t have an concrete idea how this should work
so any ideas and suggestions are highly welcome… but we can discuss this on the projects forum.
Either leave your email adress in this topic or contact me through my profile.
I can see there’s quite a bit of interest in this. I’m glad I mentioned the idea now. The idea of a charity donation sounds good to me too.
Great work on setting the airset stuff up Kai-ser. I’ll send you my email address now.
let’s make it interesting.
I’m quite interested to see how this works out, and help where I can.
i have set myself up in airset .. lets see what next …
indaba is a great way for artist to colaborate. indabamusic.com – this would surely solve alot of issues. Let me know what you guys think. I’d love to collaborate on the project as well. Peace.
