Hello friends! I’ve always been a positive person! but right now I feel a little unmotivated now that I’m 100% in AudioJungle I have no other income and I have weeks of not selling!, now my question is, does this happen to you? It happened always at the beginning? Is my music of poor quality? Is My graphic design is bad?, Iis my wrong style? have I to change my style? please!, can someone give me a few words? at this time I dont know if trying or leave my dream to one side… :(

I know this is not professional but also human and sometimes I need guidance. I have to talk about this because in my country I am the the the only person selling music here and I have no friends who are dedicated to this.

I apologize to my clients for making these unprofessional questions but do not want to ask this, I just need some advice.

Thanks! If u read this! and Thanks for your comment!

God Bless u!

Hi!

do not worry, I think it’s a normal thing not to sell regularly at the beginning. I work full time to writing music for AudioJungle, and I seriously started on 1 November 2013. Until that day I had sold 4 tracks. Now I have 35 sales and I sell more or less every day. It ‘hard, I know, but the results will come slowly, even if small. The only advice that I can give to you is to make song every day and try to post 4-5 tracks per week. Writing for every musical genre. By doing so you will be more visible and more likely that people will buy from you . I do not think that your music is inferior to that of the top-seller, you simply do not have their visibility, and you have to increase it gradually. Hang in there and move on. Trust that little by little efforts will be rewarded.

it’s dangerous to consider Audiojungle as a full time job because you can’t predict whether it will work or not … But what’s certain is that it takes time! we must build a sound identity and reputation, and each sale is a step towards success! Do not give up and continues to produce quality music. I read this post yesterday, encouraging, isn’t it? ;)

Listen to me brother, if you thought it would be easy, you were dead wrong. If you still think it will be easy, just quit.
You need to put your very being in it, your soul.
If you’re doing it for money and fame, drop it right now because you will fail.
Do it because you love it.
It will be a long ride until you reach your goals, but you have to endure, you have to fight !
You must not lower your guard at any moment.
Just last month I found out that just living life itself is hard as fu’‘k !
Let me tell you, there is always someone out there who wants it more, who will stay awake one more hour just to learn more, someone who will do one more than you did, and that will make a huge difference.
So , never give up, no matter what !
Even if you have to motherfu’‘king bleed, don’t give up, pick yourself up, brush yourself and move forward !
I said to myself, If I am going to cry, I am going to cry to keep going.
Good luck my friend, and remember, “Its not over, until I win !”

hey Saka! you’re very right in what you say, no more have to be patient, and continue to produce quality music.

I’m here for two reasons, first because I love making music! and because I need to live on something and I chose to do this :).

I know good times are coming soon for me because what I do, I do with love and enthusiasm :)

:) I am now recharged of positivism :) thank you very much! for your words friend! Greetings! ... :)

I hope I’m not intruding. I am currently not a full-time author, but it is definitely my goal. I can tell from experience though, not to give up.

I started this Royalty Free venture about 7-8 months ago. I was inspired by my brother who encouraged me to get into it, and our very own Micheal Musco :) (I read his blogs) Combined sales in the first 4 months was at about 5, and they were very low cost titles, because I did not have enough self-respect to put them higher. Now, with December alone I have had a combined 18 sales!! (AJ and the other site I am a part of). I know that this dwarfs in comparison to others, so I am not putting this up to boast, but the point is that I started from nothing (everyone does literally). I could have given up, but if I would have, I would not be just about to upgrade some of my equipment so that I can increase my quality and hopefully sell more! Keep fighting! Believe in your craft and your talent! Keep making good music! Good luck and Merry Christmas! :)

Hello friend thank you very much!, I’m sure you will be great, and as we struggle to make our dreams come true, I am now confident in God that everything will be okay, now I’m out of money :) but God will provide. :D

Now I am going to continue producing and improving my music and improving my profile to make it look much more professional, tidy and attractive :)

Merry Christmas! :D

I often find my problem is not so much finding inspiration as not being inspired by anything else whilst working on a track! I tend to want to start something new and exciting before finishing what i was working on before and have to constantly battle this tendency.

Like some others in this thread I’m trying to make music my full time occupation but feel it’s safer spreading my efforts over various different areas rather than just on writing library tracks here on AJ. I’ve actually had much more success (financially at least) finding session work playing in bands are approaching local video production businesses with the offer of bespoke tracks. Saying that I’m still a long way off having a predictable monthly wage big enough to support all my outgoings.

I’d be really interested to hear about what other ‘full timers’ do to make ends meet.

Oh n merry Christmas :)
