Hy everybody Wanted today to check my e-mails and realized that someone hacked me. Broke my Yahoo mail box, my G-Mail account and my Newgrounds page.

I was using sorohanro@yahoo.com now I’m switching to mihai_sorohan@yahoo.com and I kindly ask all the people with whom I was collaborating to write me to the new address.

Thank you.

Lost over 100 contacts, musicians all over the world, theater directors and record labels… it’s quite a big bad thing.

And again you post your full email address in an open forum, you should always try to hide the @ and . when you post your email inside an open forum.

I’m not saying that this has anything to do with the hacking of your mailbox but you better be a little bit more carefully with giving away your email in public.

Spam bots will find your email address in here.

The best hink you can do is to use disposable emailaccounts, and use the redirect mode, this way if a if a account gets hacked you still have your main account with your emails.

The best hink you can do is to use a backup tool to backup you emails and account. Use google offline to store you emails on you pc.

Rule number one in how to minimise getting hacked Never ever post your email in full on an open forum

Spambots will have a great time with that DOH

Thank everyone for the feedback and for advices.
I’m not worried about spam. Yahoo have a quite effective filter and my e-mail was always public as the main contact on my website. Never had problems until now.

For what happened I know even who is responsible and how did it. It was on a website where I was moderator and some users are constantly creating problems (posting porn, uploading copyrighted music as their own…etc), and when then get banned, some break into moderators accounts and mess around as a revenge.
