Hi,
I know a lot of producers willing to have their music managed because they dont have the time to do so. Now I am wondering if it is common or even possible to manage Songs from other authors on Audiojungle?
Thanks in advance!
What kind of management are you talking about?
I mean managing in the sense of taking care of uploading and administrating the music for example to Audiojungle and elsewhere.
I think most authors are managing their music themselves as revenue isn’t that big. But if you have a profitable offer which’ll help us earn more without spending much, let us know
Managing and promoting the music is definitely a big enough job to handed off to someone else. It would save me a lot of time for actual composing, but as soundengine pointed out most of us AJ’ers don’t earn enough for a manager to be a worthwhile investment. That is, unless the manager is only planning on asking for a small percentage of our sales, in which case it may not be a worthwhile investment of time for the manager.
[Edit] Double post. Oops
Im wondering about copyright issues – if I upload a Track which actually isnt mine – there should be a way to put in the copyright owner… It would make sense as a manager – the more Artists get involved the bigger the chances
You would need to start a web site service and let artists subscribe to your service so that you can distribute their work across many royalty free music sites. You’d need to automate all the processes through API connections though. Audiojungle has an API service to do that but i’m not sure about the others.
So, yes management idea might have some potential
