Make those logos blind until end of this contest !

I have a suggestion or you can say it’s my request ! Make those logos invisible from other contestant; who will participate in this contest. After the contest those logos will visible for everyone. Then decide who is going to win or not.

I think it a nice idea to see what everyone is up to in the contest!

On a side not when does the contest end i could not seem to find when it was?

DATES

• August 8 (today) – Contest Launched!
• August 24 – Logos Category will go live! (make sure you submit your entries here)
• September 7 – Contest Ends.
• September 8-11 – We will judge all entries!
• September 12 – Winners announced!

1. Think about which sectors you get most requests for logo design
2. Invent a company in your head in that industry
3. Design their brand
4. Submit it
5. ????
6. Profit

In my opinion, you shouldn’t try to make a generic one-size-fits-all brand.

indeed. the best thing to do in this case is trying to invent a client. better if from hell. impose yourself to only use a small range of colors, fonts and shapes. better if you choose between only 2 of each group.

choose always the hardest way. don’t make things easy for yourself, that would mean taking advantage of your current freedom and in real life doesn’t happen.

exercise.

don’t use helvetica. don’t use myriad pro. don’t use gotham.

if needed check the web and find useful tools like kuler.

when the work is done and you are satisfied with the result even it doesn’t look like a potential award winning logo, then you can call yourself logo designer.

don’t call yourself a professional logo designer.

This is a contest so i believe reviewers check our items faster then before. Am i right ?
