I’m trying to find a more “snowy” ice sound that’s short and not just crackling, like if something was becoming frozen in a short amount of time, like a more adventurous sci-fi ice sound like one that you would maybe find in metroid.

Hi. I have this sound of freezing: http://audiojungle.net/item/long-freezing-or-ice-cracking/4739100

I know you said you want it to be short, but this one might be cut. Also, if you have any example of what you need, drop me a message and I’ll see if I can create something new for you ;)

I have exactly the sounds that fit your description, but they’re not on Audiojungle yet. If you’re willing to either wait a few days or contact me in private, I can supply you with the freezing sounds you need.

In the meantime, I have a few freezing sounds that are more like icicle collisions with crystal-like sparkly effects. If you just so happen to be looking for that too, then you can find them right here:

By the way, if you’re looking for this kind of icy sound, only in a sort-of reversed fashion, then it may be worth waiting a few days for the freezing sounds I have to come through. :)

Best of luck!

Just so people know its a sound effect I’m looking for. For months I haven’t been able to make the perfect short freeze sound and I searched all over the Internet and not even AJ has a sound remotely resembling what I’m looking for, so I got some time to wait, unless I by chance make it first. The closest thing it would resemble would be the ice beam for metroid prime series or the freeze blasts of sub-zero in mortal combat.

In that case, I think you’ll like what’s in the review queue right now. And even if it isn’t what you’re looking for exactly, you’re more than welcome to contact me privately and from there, we can create the sounds you want. :)

Yeah when I say “sound” I literally mean just a sound, not a whole musical piece, but nice tracks though.
