Edit: Submitted by accident while editing the title. It should say:
“Let’s get rid of the weekend delay for payments!”

Hi guys. Did you know that the 15th fell on a weekend 5 times this year? That means nearly half the year we didn’t get paid on time.

What is it about the weekend that makes payments so impossible? I get payments from clients all the time on the weekend!

There are about 20,000 authors here. Obviously payments aren’t done manually. So why is it so necessary to do them on a “business day”?

Sure interest is being earned on our money. But is 1 day of extra interest really worth delaying important payments to 20,000 people who likely really need the money? (especially this month!)

May be worth enough. :D

For me atleast if the payment comes as of officially described date without further delays, that’s better.

Wish they will pay us on 14th instead of 17th. If paid via swift on 17th that means the money will enter my account on 20th.

ah :) the payment on 15th.

just pay the day before the weekend.

So simple, yet complicated.

but isn’t funny how payment made to any online company is instantaneous yet to get some money from them you need to wait like is 1880?

It’s in Envato’s business model to do this. They want to keep your money as long as they can so they can earn the interest on it. This will not change…
