Hey everyon, I’m launching a new site for my printing company and wanted some opinions on the design, It’s not complete but almost there. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. http://tinyurl.com/kq94plf

Great start Cloud! I like it, it looks nice, it’s quite clear and easy to use.

Just a couple of thoughts: it’s not responsive, also in the home page I would insert some sub sections right underneath the main carousel, like: Special Offers, Best selling items and some similar stuff just to make it more interesting, also the page will be a bit different each time the visitor returns but I guess this kind of things will come with time.

I would skip that background. It’s just not related to your brand (unless you plan on shipping to the stars :) ). Keep it simple and only ever add something if you have a good reason. It’s much harder to remove things that to add them.

I subscribe to this. I removed your backgrounds from the Elements Inspector and with a white background looked much better. I don’t think that background represents your business but I might be wrong.

Also add hover states to links. I hate hovering a link and its state doesnt change.

Dear Friend,
Your site is awesome.
But, I think some customization is important for this. What’s in my mind.

  • Remove or use defferent background. I think textures are useful for this. This site is helpful for you. http://subtlepatterns.com/
  • Make some animate or hover effects for top menu links
  • I think, use some different font style.
  • Use icon bullets for left side menu

I like this site. :)
