Keyframe problem

Since I started using AE, I had a big problem. Sometimes, when I use keyframes to move an object from one point to an other and after that it should stay there for 2 seconds, it moves in this 2 seconds. The keyframes are identical and between them the object is moving. Why?

Because the keyframes do not have their spatial interpolation set to linear.

Although they have the same value, there is a curve being drawn between them. Either right click and set spatial interpretation to linear or right click on the first keyframe and use toggle hold keyframe. Either method will work.

You can also set spatial keyframe interpolation to default to linear in the preferences. I find this by far the most intuitive way to work.
