I’ve made this script for this guy at collagecreative.com
It’s a bunch of sortable li’s with images in it and when you hover a tooltip sticks out… Now, when debugged on IE the tooltip doesnt come out giving a sort of overflow: hidden; feeling.
As far as I know, if I disable the opacity effects of jQuery and just set to show or hide when the user hovers everything works fine, now when you have any sort of opacity animation on the li’s it stops overflowing the tooltip…
Any ideas?
Can you show it? I had my problems with jquery animation and it’s maybe not the case here but the position attribute wasn’t right and sometimes you have to specify some dimensions.. Or z-index maybe?

Hey mate,
I’ll try changing the size or the top and left position and see if it works.
cheers
