Hi! You need to unzip the file you downloaded and upload the theme inside it. Please see Common ‘Broken Theme’ and ‘Stylesheet Missing’ WordPress Issues

Please review the video tutorial and all instructions in the link above. It explains everything.

Once you unzip the download file and find the theme zip inside it, you can upload that directly through your WordPress Admin Panel.

Is this the file you are talking about?

If so that is a HTML template and NOT a WORDPRESS THEME – you will not be able to upload this to Wordpress and will need to modify the HTML directly and then the only way you will be able to add it to your domain is via FTP (you will need to get access somehow).

It depends on what you want to change on the file.

Assuming it is edited to your needs and you have set the countdown correctly (.JS file) and changed the contact form email address (.PHP file) and any other changes you need to make in the code then upload ALL the files in the download (individual files NOT as a zip) to your root directory in your FTP.

You need to make sure the root does not have other files already there that could conflict with this template

Are you trying to upload a file as an author, or a purchase theme on your server?

If it’s the first, you’re getting the same error I am getting, which I mention here: http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/error-when-updating-themefiles-on-themeforest/83183

Hi 123jerryberry,

Give it another try. We’ve just added a fix for some problems with our handling of headers in style.css themes that might solve your problem.
