I find it quite rude actually, because you’re trying to make money from someone else’s work. (I’m not saying I’m offended by it, but it’s just a little rude). Also, when some does reply to one of these “advertisements”, they probably have to send the PSD file to the respective coder, and thus violating the rule that you must not redistribute the file, or am I wrong?

If that’s the case, I will NEVER buy another PSD file. It’s no use to me, it’s just a picture.

According to the license, people are allowed to code up your PSD ’s. The license is single use. So lets say you buy a PSD and send it to a coder. You own the PSD , and the coder is legally not-permitted to use that PSD ever again. If he/she would like to use that PSD for a different project he/she would then have to buy the file.

Regarding people offering to code your PSD ’s. It is permitted, and is something that happens quite frequently over at FD. If you offer a PSD , and someone wants it coded, being that he/she now owns 1 license of that, he/she can contract anyone they wish to get the job done. 9 times out of 10 the buyer will go to the author first.

In the case of a person advertising within the PSD ’s comments, I think that falls outside of the boundary of fair play. This situation should be reported, and will probably get removed.

To people that buy PSD ’s and need to hire someone to get it coded. It’s always best to contact the author of the PSD first. He/she knows their layer structure the best, and will probably be the best fit to code it. If the author is not able to do it for whatever reason, feel free to post a work request thread in the forum. Do not post it within the items comments.

This is what happened. I reported the file.
