Just so you guys know, we have such discipline (and even the whole departments) as “Applied mathematics” in our technical universities, where people learn some numerical analysis, iterative methods of solving differential equations… stuff like that. Though I’m not sure we have such profession as “applied mathematician”, may be it should be something like “engineer-mathematician”.
Also I’ve never heard about programmers hanging out here, especially in the places like Codecanyon and Themeforest!

I think if everything can be put into a theory and calculated.. then the nature of reality is constructed and only real in our minds as electochemical signals – like a computer program. Intelligence is the realization of this time matrix we call reality and understanding how to manipulate it.
