Hello everybody, I am looking for a book or paid tutorials or something like that, which can help me to improve my graphic and web design skills ( only with photoshop, no codes ), I searched in Google, but it gives me tutorials and books with html, css and much more information i don’t need. I work with some programmers and they do the code part, i need to learn design better. Thanks in advanced for your replies.

You may need to be clear about which industry you supposed to work for at some point. Without knowing the basics of html, you can’t construct a web page design in Photoshop efficiently. We can do whatever we need on Photoshop but when it comes to webdesign, the graphic designers needs to know some basics of html/css for practical usage.

So my point is if a book overlaps with some html/css inputs, do not just ignore it! :)

Hi, i already know the basics of html, css, php and even mysql, but the problem is that literally my designs sux, and i need to learn how to make them better. Not just the basics and fundamentals of design, but the modern trends and for example how to create a template like these ones : ” http://themeforest.net/category/psd-templates?utf8=%E2%9C%93&sort_by=sales_count&categories=psd-templates ”.
Note: I am talking about making my designs better, not for tutorials that will get my items approved in envato websites, i mean to improve my design skills at all. Thanks for understanding!

I don’t know how much you already know, but Adobe has good basics videos… you may already know basics of PS, but they pretty much cover the basics of all the tools and features PS has to offer… so you could find some new things in here.

Kevin, thanks for the answer, but I already know the basics and more, since I use photoshop from over 5 years.
