Hip-Hop track by the way:
http://audiojungle.net/item/trying/2370444sounds pretty good to me, I’m listening in some good earphones, I definitely wouldn’t go any louder though, cool track.
Yeah I’m happy with the sound when using headphones, but a few days ago I suddenly got a feeling it’s too loud and wobbly when using my old 2.1 speakers. Either my ears have gotten more sensitive and I started questioning my finished tracks, or the speakers need a replacement. Which is definitely the case anyway.
In this moment I can’t hear on monitors, but I was listening on my monitor headphones. I would go quieter with that bass line. For me it’s too bassy.
Cheers! I hope I helped.
Yeah, wouldn’t hurt to tone it down a bit. At least I would get peace of mind.
I play bass so it’s not too loud but i would cut a little 100-150 Hz to better separation of the kick and bass line
Yeah your Stingray copy
.
I still do stuff by ear, no looking at Hz and numbers…
I wonder if all top producers, audio engineers etc, look at the numbers.
If so, then it’s time to start I guess.
fxprosound saidNot a wrong advice at all, i think FXPro is righttrue. But for this style i like it and for sure it’s not too much bass in general. So I would be careful to not loose the energy too much in the bass be cutting this too much!

Hmm, you two just might have spared me some Hz-cutting and re-uploading =). I’ll leave it be for now.
I listen well volume
