Or even worse… People are now listening to streamed music using their mobile phone speaker. It seems to me that we are moving backwards. People probably don’t care as much about audio quality as we would like to think.

Of course 10bit is much worse. One sample has only 1024 different levels it can be at while 16bit has 65536. But once you go to higher bit-depths that number is going to increase for sure but there comes a moment when the differences are unhearable.
All this tells me is that you didn’t try what I said to try.
Honestly, the proof is in the pudding.

It’s impressive. Early, Record, Mixing and Mastering was very difficult
But process was interesting i think.
