I have this problem too, this is related with time change ,remove and install app 2-3 times do the job.

crashes chrome everytime since the time change. reinstalling didn’t help 
edit / reinstalling through google web store did it

Hey! Sorry I did not reply to your previous messages, somehow I got unsubscribed from this thread…
The issue is fixed since last Sunday, it was indeed an issue with summer time change, which caused an infinite loop. If you still have the issue, remove and re-install the extension from the Chrome Webstore, and it should work fine.
I have little time to work on the extension right now, but it still take note of all your suggestions, keep them coming!
