Hi guys, please help me out with this one.

I need to test sites in ALL browser versions. I’m running a XP (SP2) on Virtual Box on MBP . How can I install all these browsers there? I need a Step-by-Step tut about this couse’ I suck at these things.

Please, just do not suggest me to test my sites elsewhere or to install Parallels or something. I won’t to have it all tested via Virtual Box.

Thanks a ton guys!

After you turn the Virtual Box on and it’s at the desktop, just install the programs like normal.

IE: http://www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/IETester/HomePage
FF 2 : http://www.filehippo.com/download_firefox/3517/
FF 3 : http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

If you have any trouble installing the programs, let me know! :)

I’ve already installed FF2 and FF3 on my Win XP on PC, not a big deal. Just don’t know if the same works on VB on Mac?

This might help: http://net.tutsplus.com/articles/web-roundups/13-ways-to-browser-test-and-validate-your-work/

It doesn’t cover how to install them but once you’re running XP in VB you should be able to just install them the same as you would in Parallels.

Hope that helps. :-)

I know I’m ignoring your warning not to suggest other methods, but I felt like sharing this link anyway:

Browsershots takes screenshots of your website in a LOT of different browsers. :D
