It reminded me this Russian fable:

The Cuckoo and the Rooster

   - “How loud you sing, dear Rooster, and with what noblesse!”

- “And you, my sweetest Cuckoo, I confess,

The notes that you produce are so prolonged,

In all the woods no one can match your song.”

   - “To yours, friend Rooster, I could listen till I die.”

- “When you stop singing, fair one, I feel I want to cry.

A voice like yours so pure, so sweet, so high…

Where did you get it? You’re so small and frail,

And yet you sing just like a nightingale.”

   - “Thank you, my friend, although less well than you.

      No bird of paradise sings better than you do.”

“What awful nonsense both of you emote,”

Exclaimed a Sparrow, close at hand.

“When neither one of you can sing a note.

Why all this praise? I do not understand

(Since Rooster squawks and Cuckoo’s always flat)

What game you think you’re playing at?”

If praise unearned you want, it’s easy to obtain: Just offer tit for tat – that’s how you play this game. Thus, Rooster praises Cuckoo, so she’ll do the same.

As a result of this thread, I (and hopefully some others) have had the pleasure of discovering a number of brilliant composers and producers. I must say that the discovery of BlueFoxMusic blew me completely away! Thanks for the great input! I wish you all lots of sales and a great weekend!
