So here’s my dilemma… While I like many of the themes on TF, and in fact have purchased many for different projects, I have yet to find one for my own site. Why? Because I can never figure out what to do with the damn image sliders… Now, I know you can remove them on some themes, but this always ends up looking odd… due to overall theme design, most feel like they’re missing something without the slider. So my question is this… What themes sans slider do people know of and like, or what ideas do you have for actually using them? My site is generally designed as a hybrid portfolio/news site, so keep that in mind.

this one has a slider natively but I know it looks fantastic if you deactivate it or use the staged header version, that one is static.

Have fun!
