Here are some photos of the slab going in.
The bobcat arrived at about 5:45 am, and made quick work of the trees, then leveled the ground. The concrete arrived a few hours later, and was run into the backyard via wheelbarrows. Those guys are fit!
The trucks took over the street for most of the morning, parking in the middle of the road, or on our neighbours footpaths. I can only guess what the neighbours were thinking!

Now we’re waiting for the shed materials to arrive and be assembled. I don’t have much confidence that will happen before Christmas, but everything else has happened before schedule. Here’s hoping!
