Idiot trying to blackmail AudioJungle users

Hi guys,

I received the following email from some prat. Thought I’d share.

i have found all your audio jungle music illegaly shared on the internet!!! 300 persons have downloaded it now because there are uploaded 2 hours ago. If you don’t delete the download links 10000 people will download them in the next 5 days! Let me know what you can offer me if i show you the pirated internet site and give you the password to login to this site? I want 100 Euro or your (He lists all my synth soundsets and sample libraries here) and i will give you all the info and login data. So let me know.

Just thought I’d highlight this in case others get it. Quite why he thinks I should be worried about people downloading water-marked audio files, I don’t know. Obviously not a very bright individual.

So… you paid the 100, right? Good thing that guy showed up at the right time to help you out.

Nothing better than getting a laugh at the idiots out there who have so little brains that they can’t even get a job or do anything other than steal from others in order to live. It’s funny how rediculous most scams are and to realize that some people actually fall for them.

This one is a little worse than your normal scam. He isn’t just fishing for information. He is actually kind of trying to force you to give him something for a “supposed” bad situation that you are in. Kind of like trying to profit off of someone’s bad misfortune. What an arse!

Romanians says “I wish stupidity would hurt, then you would have a lot of people screaming on streets”...
