I want to sell my wordpress plugin

Hello Everyone,

I have recently got a plugin developed from my coders, i want to sell it here, can you guys guide me for the guidelines to follow and how to do this process. Also, how much can i make out of it.

I want to sell the ENCODED version only, can i do that?

By ‘encoded’ – If you mean obfuscated, I think that’s not going to be accepted.

you also want to make sure you paid for rights to resell it(not sure what your contract entailed) I know some devs still hold rights for projects, but again it really depends on the contract.

and if the source is hidden or “encoded” it will be rejected

Thanks for the direction sir. I have the resell rights to it. Yes, i want to sell it encoded using IONCUBE probably as i do not want the copy to be coded the day it goes out as we all know it does happen. Can i sell this encoded ? Please someone confirm.

You can’t sell an encoded (obfuscated PHP? I’m not familiar with IONCUBE) version, you can encode your live demo of the plug if you like. The WP plugin repository wouldn’t accept it, nor would the marketplaces.
