I’ve got some questions for especially experienced and “best seller” authors;

1. How to co-operate with videohive authors and place our items in their projects,

2. Where should we seek for them, how to contact them,

3. How could we convince them we (and our portfolios) are the best for them,

4. How do you contact them, are you following the videohive forums,

5. Are you composing special compositions for them via mail demands,

6. How do they believe that my song is the correct one for them or not, what makes them choose the right one..

Please reply as much of them as possible, because we all know our items are filtered by videohive authors firstly :)

Thanks

Hi Ceku.

It’s mostly them seeking you, not you seeking them. If a videohiver have done some kind of video item, the author may want a sound for the preview, they’ll search on audiojungle and hopefully find what they need. Contacting them can in most cases just lead to the videohiver being annoyed. You’ll just need to create quality music and maybe you’ll be lucky, I’ve been it 3 times (what I know) :).

I really want to contribute with a videohive author, hear my compositions on some projects. I also want to compose special tracks for videohive projects as it is demanded from me, thus i want to contact them as much as possible..

I’m continuously searching for the market and trying to place items according to my searches, on determined fields those lack of kind items. But nobody has even contacted me, even item bought ones :)

I also wonder who bought my items and what are they being used for :)))

I think it’s hard to find VideoHive author to collaborate with, because mainly – they find You. :) But please – don’t post on their forums that You are looking for them:D As far as I know VideoHive don’t like that. Just try to make great music and Your track will be used for some awesome projects.:)

Or build your own team of graphics creative people, animators, filmmakers and work together for each other as a team (Like i did few weeks ago) :)

There is a lot of talented people sitting at home and making great stuff only for themselves waiting to be noticed – and they never heard ┬┤bout Envato marketplace!

I think that “spamming” VH authors is really not a good idea and for me personal its really degrading :(

I don’t see why this has to be a one sided coin. i personaly have done the oposite. I picked a video for my track to display it on my item page, and i only contacted the videohive author to give him the link.(and he liked it)...

That’s a good idea actually! Shouldn’t be too annoying for any videohive author, I guess :) I’m lucky being able to create 3D stuff and After Effects animations on my own and will hopefully find some time to create my own videohive projects soon ;)

I feel your pain but trust me, you just have to wait. A lot of the VH community frown upon AJ authors approaching them so all you can really do is wait, which sucks, but it seems like it’s the only way. In the 10 months I’ve been here I have only seen 4 VH projects using my music and been asked once to write music specifically for a new item… So it takes a while.

I would also love to write music to fit brand new VH project so it’s frustrating that emailing the authors is so frowned upon. I’m hoping that in a year or so, when I have a higher paw and more tracks, that VH authors will approach me :)
