How Obtain This?

Hi all, probably a stupid question I often listen this kind of TIMPANI (PERCUSSIONS or whatelse) but I don’t see how to obtain this kind of sound, please help me

If you own Spectrasonics Stylus RMX, take a look under the sound menu, sound is called big boomers, it might be interesting for you. And by the way, ThomasVoMusic rocked this song!

For me it sounds like regular EQed drum-kit. Pretty nice piece.

There are quite a lot of sound libraries containing similar drums. You might want to check Heavyocity Evolve or Damage. You got some premade stuff there. I like to play a lot with the percussion instruments in Miroslav Philharmonic. I know this library doesnt have a huge numbers of fans, but you can find there some pretty interesting wagnerian drums, timpanis, snares,etc.

Maan, why I’ve been listening to this? Now I wanna create something similar.

I think libraries like Heavyocity Evolve contains percs like this for sure.

Or just try to find a way how to use “regular drums” sound banks and play a with EQ, Reverb, Gate etc. It´s an alchemy but you may find some interesting sounds!

Juma Studios: Oooh, Miroslav Philharmonic Very good, and my very first orchestra sound bank – i´ve composed a whole PC game soundtrack with this But unfortunately it´s only 32-bit plugin and it´s not working properly with my 64-bit DAW (but i have info that Sample tank 3 will work with all the Miroslav sounds on 64-bit – can´t wait!)
