Was living in a suburb outside Boston and paying $975 for a small 1 bedroom. Moved to Tucson and started paying $500 for about the same thing. Moved into a much nicer 2 bedroom a few years later and now pay $650.

yeah it was high.. but when i steped out on my front porch i could see the ocean.. i was about a 5 minute walk from the beach I am going to school in Valjevo (100 km away from the capital – Belgrade) and there you can find place for 100/150 euros ( 130-200$ ), and with rest aprox. 1000 $ you can live LIKE A BOSS!
