I just ditched my desktop for a MBP i7 and a 22” 2048×1152 as my main work station which is great so far.

Other tools I use are synergy for controlling some other Windows PCs, you can use the same keyboard and mouse on any number of computer which is super useful and Adobe inspect for mobile testing.

Having macbook pro 13.3” and Apple Cinema Display 27” (the best monitor I ever had)
that’s a huge monitor for such a small machine, you don’t find it struggles with outputting that res when working or watching video etc? What spec is the MBP?

Working like a charm. Do not have any problems while working or watching video. Just forgot to mention that it has 16GB of mem. on board ;) It is 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5

Awesome :) Didn’t realise you could get 16GB in a 13.3 MBP, new model?

Just to post my experience here, as I have switched to two monitors yesterday.

I am still new to this kind of setup, but so far it’s great, I can work much quicker as I can have file manager or browser on one screen, and Notepad++ on another. Combined with a LiveReload, this is a dream come true :)

I would suggest anyone thinking about going “dual” to do it!
