I wonder what authors do when their item got accepted after all the hard work, most of you may even faced numerous rejections. Do you immediately start working on a new item? spend a day going out to chill? Share

wait for someone to buy it.
Great question. I found a system that works pretty well for me. I typically monitor the comments and support forums for immediate feedback. That way you can get in a few vital features that you may have overlooked, and also squash any bugs you may have missed. Typically I spend the first week or two making updates to make the product better, while it still has exposure to try to get it to the top sellers list. By far, the best way to get there is to make a good, solid theme and keep improving it for your customers.
Also, posting shots to dribbble and forrst helps drive more traffic and exposure to the theme as well. Marketing the theme is something you’ll want to do right away. Most people overlook that part.
