How do you promote your files ?

i know there is a thread “Ways to promote your audiojungle musics” but i want to know how do you promote your files ? somebody promote on facebook , some on youtube and … how do you ?

I have an account on soundcloud, but this is still like flogging a dead horse. I think one of the most quite good ways to promote your works is to use social networks and music forums.

Hi there,

apart from social media etc it’s important to have a good web presence like a nice and working homepage. This is loads of work but a great investment for the future!

Anyway…I wonder why I should promote my music on music forums since musicians will not buy my music but copy it:). You should try to find your real audience. Get it?;))

You can promote in many many places, but if you promote to the wrong audiences, that wouldn’t be much good right? Know your target markets and buyers

Hey Moccc, I don’t think anyone is going to give up their exact spots where they promote. Maybe if you P.M. them or something. Much like a fisherman wouldn’t give out his favorite spot I think it is the same here. We all know if a good forum to promote that gets results was given out here everyone would smother it before the day ends. Just use google in a smart way.

And yes promoting your work or spamming in forums where it is most likely other musicians will get you no where. Would a mortgage company advertise to other mortgage companies or target home buyers? Everyone is very helpful in this community to a point but no one will spoon feed this info.
