Hey guys,
I’m trying to think of ways I can get more exposure for my products. What I get from just being on the marketplace is not enough. I’ve got some paid advertisements but not all of them do well, so I’ll be cancelling some. But I’m wondering what else I can do.
So what do you do? What do you recommend? What do you not recommend?

Start a blog about something interesting or unique. Even if it’s just a random list of things you learn on a day to day basis. Or code you find somewhere, wack it on the blog with an explanation so you can find it again later. I did that and it seems to be working ok ( dtbaker.com.au )
Thanks. I’ve been thinking of starting a blog so I ‘ll just go ahead with that
Can You tell something more about paid advertisements? I have tried Google Ads, but it was only wasting of money OR I just don’t know how to use it.
I seem to start an advertising campaign, especially a paid one has to have more statistics (visits, conversions, and keywords), unfortunately, here this information is limited, so do not see the point in paid advertising, as not enough control
In my opinion paid advertising is not the best way to drive traffic. Definitely agree about a blog – WordPress, jQuery, CSS, etc tutorials are very good at driving relevant traffic – also post these to social networks. Another good source of useful traffic is to create a portfolio of free WordPress and jQuery plugins.
Depard saidI’m testing out all different ones. To be honest, facebook ads have been OK. I’ve got ads up at hotscripts too, but it’s not seeming worth it, so I don’t think I’ll continue it.

I know. It’s hard to tell which ads are converting and which aren’t. It’s actually annoying. I wish envato would allow us to track conversions.

Yeah this is what i’m figuring. I might keep the facebook ads going, they seem to help a bit. But otherwise, I’ll try to get started on the blog.
