No body will spoil good running business with making fraud data, I would like to point out here one thing…I feel some people know about the Ramalinga Raju CEO “Satyam Computers” is now in Jail ( just near to my home) in India as he infiltrated the Financial data in his company, and he made some illegal things to increase the share value.
Envato is most trust able fast growing online firm, so they never thought like these type cheap tricks. I strongly believe about it.

If you worked for a company, questioned their integrity & didn’t have a single bit of proof would you present this thread to them? Probably not because it would be the worse career move ever…I’m surprised you still have an account.
I think we are cheated on: they probably round all the sales income we receive DOWN . You know, when I sell a $16 file and I get 56.3%, then I should get $9.008 or $9.01 but they probably give me just $9.00 so suppose they’d do that for every sale, it would save them .1 to .5 cents for every 2 sales (half of the sales would have been rounded down anyway) which is an average of .15 cents for every sale!
With the flashden top sellers of last month selling 6211 files together that would save them $9.32 (roughly) every month, and I’m only talking FlashDen top sellers here, think about the other marketplaces, think about the totals!!
DON ’T YOU GUYS SEE !? WE’RE BEING RIPPED OFF BIG TIME !!
Lol. Just to make sure: just kidding This example couldn’t even be true because you can’t get decimal rates from your files, which makes it impossible to get 3-decimal earnings from 0-decimal file prices.
Well just my ‘two cents’ there. Gotta get back to work now, beg your pardon… excuse me.. coming through!
Well, if you read my first post in this thread about how you guys make me laugh. Its true. This thread is funny. I’ve come to some realizations. I can’t help but keep laughing at it. Here’s one thing you guys do. “I LOVE envato”, or “I’m so happy to be a part of this place”. And NOW you want to consider questioning them because the issue of corruption has occurred even though there was no proof of it? Try this out. Go ahead and continue to love Envato and its communities, members, marketplaces, money earnings potentials..etc. But try not to publicly humiliate them by questioning their integrity and YOUR loyalty by accusing them of corruption before you have any kind of proof or anything so much as a clue. Until you can confirm it, you have nothing. Give it up until you do. That will be the only time you can do something about it. Good luck.
+1 Totally agree with you Ben!
I read all thread from page one, I like conspiracy , but I will just quote a part of the first message
.. and everytime you sell 10 copies , they add 1 to your account .. who’s gonna know ?
and say, that they already do this, the “10 copies to 1” thing in your account.
Ten points to who guess were, how and why.
this thread is crap! first of all, if you don’t trust, then i feel sorry for your friends, family etc. second, as someone already said: if you get “need support” email from a client and your stats says that you have 0 sales then you should know that there is something wrong.
also, as someone said, create new account and buy your stuff and you’ll know. don’t come here for answer because:
1) we don’t know, we just trust since envato is decent company that depends on their authors
2) we love envato and i am a bit offended by your question… if you are doubtful, go sell your stuff directly to your customers without any arbiter involved.
we love envato and i am a bit offended by your question… if you are doubtful, go sell your stuff directly to your customers without any arbiter involved.+1… I agree with you
Every company has to account for its revenue streams.
The moment they get audited it’ll uncover discrepencies (e.g. money that’s not been correctly accounted for), and boom, it’s game over.
Don’t worry about it.
Hey everyone, on behalf of Dany (the original poster), this thread has been taken the wrong way.
Dany was simply wondering if there was some sort of system setup to really verify our sales. He has a curious mind and was simply being curious, not questioning Envato’s integrity.
He stated several times at the beginning of the thread that he wasn’t saying Envato couldn’t be trusted or anything like that.
Anyway, I just wanted to clarify that for everyone. Now that we’ve defended Envato’s integrity and established that there’s really no way to verify we’re getting all our sales (that we know of or by Dan’s method above) but that the owners and staff of Envato are as trustworthy as our own family, I think we can close the thread.
