I have a UAD card as well…mostly use it for track by track. Haven t tried it much for mastering. My card is an older 2004 generation…I added the fairchild plug and an EQ. I love the LA 2A on vocals and the pultec does cool stuff to the drum sound. I should re familiarize myself with it…as I got more into the vintage waves stuff over the last few years.
QuadraphonixAssociation said-| Hey simaudio, I think we two are the only UAD freaks here in the depths of the jungle@ QuadraphonixAssociation.![]()
I reckon as this thread goes on we might get a few more users come out the woodwork, he he
Yeah, like yourself i use them on most things, i’m not really sure about the analogue tape mastering stuff ? Do you use any of these ?
@ JCKerosene
Waves plugs are good but i think unless you have an endless supply of cash ( a money tree in the back yard) then i think you probably have to go one way or the other. (waves or Uad)

Slats: I see you’re from the NW on England – where about exactly? I’m originally from Chester.

Hi Gari, born and bred in Lancaster, near the sunny seaside resort of Morecambe!
Ah, Chester, a lovely place, sometimes go there for a city break.

Hi, I’m from Northwest Manchester (Salford) Yeah I know.
Salford! Although I don’t have Salford accent because I’m originally from Derbyshire.
@simaudio I have waves complete 8. I like it, alot. But for some reason I always find myself going back to T-racks. Don’t know why? I suppose waves has everything you need but I’m comfortable with T-racks and I just love the vintage sound from the tube compressor. (even though waves has exactly the same vintage comp plug)
@ gbiasillo
Nice to see a few “Northerners” on here
