Hi my latest track was hard rejected. I have posted it on sound cloud and would appreciate some feedback as this one has me baffled. Not the first time I have had a track rejected and often appreciate the helpful feedback however I did not find the feedback in this instance helpful at all.

This submission does not meet our composition/arrangement standard, unfortunately.
The response was cryptic so I clicked on the link provided but it didn’t shed any light – am I missing something? This track was approved on other sites. Thanks.
OK my friend, from my short experience on the marketplace this generic message is what it says. I don’t think its ment to help you understand what you did wrong. Think these forums are the place for that.
Now, from my point of view, maybe this track has some potential but in its current form I’d say say it doesn’t cut it. You have to listen it 3-4 times to get what it is all about. I don’t like the bells you used or the organ background. I don’t think they go well together. Also, the melody is a big issue, you can’t get the song form listening it the first time. The drum also doesn’t compliment well the tune. On another note the track seems too flat, no surpises, and I may say it’s a bit off-balance. Something is just wrong on the melody.
Hope that helps you.
