I just have to do a shout out to James at Sweet Wave Audio for providing me with tips on item tags and also Jamie Blanks for HTML formatting help.

Thankyou both very much :)

What useful hints and tips have you received from the community?

I received help (and example code) from a very generous and helpful Mat Steiner on how to format my genre matrix grid in rows of 3. It has made a great difference to my profile, and help wrap my brain around the basics of html which I’d not had any experience with previously. Thank you Mat – you are a kind and wise man.

There is a lot of good information available if you search the forums too.

Thanks guys. I am totally revamping my profile with some great tutorials, this post and the fact that my wife told me it looked a little soft. So… Back to the drawing board. Thanks for all of the great tips and ideas everyone.

Here’s a couple of tips I’ve learned:

Tip 1 :Adding links to your track info file:

Adding a word document with information on your track in your main zip file is good, but what if you could add links to your porfolio, website, audiojungle profile, and more…in that .docx file.

The buyer of your track would be able to reach you quite easily just by clicking on your links.

I found a video on how to do this here. You need word 2007 and it’s called hyperlink.

Tip 2 : Fix aspect ratio of your Youtube video promo:

Sometimes when you upload your audiojungle promo on youtube it will come out squished horizontaly or verticaly, witch seems weird cause my initial videos are in the right ratio. So I thought this Youtube FIX would be heplful for those having the same problem. It’s actualy very easy to fix. Just click here for info on how to fix this.

Hope this helps!
