Get Featured in a Magazine!

We’re pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for marketplace authors to promote their work in several high profile magazines from Imagine Publishing. The titles include magazines such as Web Designer, Photoshop Creative, Advanced Photoshop, Digital Artist, 3DArtist and iCreate.

We are specifically looking for authors who would like to give away their marketplace file(s) for free and have them featured on the Cover Disc of some of these magazines over the forthcoming months. Not only is this a wonderful opportunity to self-promote your own marketplace files, but it’s also a great way to drive new audiences to the marketplaces. Anyone who is selected to be featured in any of these magazines will also be given a “Was Featured in a Magazine” badge. We’ll also ask Imagine Publishing to provide a copy of the magazine to you if your file gets used. Hopefully they will be able to do that, but I can’t promise anything.

Sounds like a great opportunity!

How would the free file work out? Will there be a time limit like the featured free file of the month on the marketplaces? Will it be downloaded for free on the marketplace, or, on the magazine’s website?

EDIT : Ok, so it’s clearer after actually reading the opt-in form…. it’s a giveaway CD! Duh… silly questions. I obviously don’t read too many magazines so I wasn’t exactly sure how that would work out.
