Okay the message has been flagged, should have seen that one coming.
Can anybody please help me find out the email address of two sites where I have found one item of mine? The sites fail to receive the message when ran through the tool and I would like to know how I can find out the email address. The tool advices to:
Best thing you can do is to visit the homepage of that server and look for the E-mail address of their “Abuse” department
Does that mean the email address of the site? If not, how can I find out the URL of the server? I’m a bit lost.
Cheers
@freshface – sent you a couple of replies.
Good initiative, but worthless if you ask me. There’s no stopping this unless there will be some better/bigger ways to do it. As I’ve stated above, Google should completely ban these sites and for what’s sake they should be closed up and the owners jailed altogether.
Anyway, congrats for the initiative.
Dunno how many of you took the time to search until the 30th -40 th page of Google. There’s literally at least one on every other page, and I guess that the case with featured themes is even worse.
Is there anybody who is using some kind of password protected/encryption system to keep these at a smaller scale?

Haha! Are you serious there?

Why would I be joking? What good are they? 99.9% pirated files. If you own a blog and copy the content from another blog and somebody reports you, you have a fat chance of having your blog sandboxed, but these kinds of sites keep on living big.

OK, that’s enough, thanks for your thumbs up but please do not continue this discussion here, this thread is solely for the freshkiller app and any extensive talk about the issue is not welcome. Read the first post in this thread. You can start your own thread if you need to discuss the issue any further. Thanks
edit: Just saw you already have your own thread so just move this debate over there please, thanks

Hi freshface, I sent a DMCA with freshkiller a few days ago, and so far no luck with the offending page getting removed. Should I try sending again? Thanks

Hi there! The links you submitted, did they sent as OK or FAILED ? If OK, try re-sending, there isn’t much I can do in that case, they should remove the links. If they won’t, you can mail them manually explaining the situation, maybe there is something wrong.

Yeah the email definitely sent ok. I just sent it again, so we’ll see what happens.

I’m finding that only a small percentage of sites are in the database. Most of the 20 or so links I’ve tried to kill have failed to send. I guess it’s up to us users to add to the database? I haven’t managed to kill a single site so far.

Upon sending the messages I get a status WORKING … Few seconds after that for all the items I’ve listed it is displayed …OK, but the WORKING … is still on the top. Is it normal?
