FreshKiller’s serverlist.txt is now on Github!
https://github.com/freshface-net/freshkillerdbFAQ
Why have we moved it to Github?
It is more transparent and allows other people to contribute to the serverlist.txt
How can I contribute- Get yourself a Github account http://www.github.com
- Head over to the freshkillerdb project and read the README https://github.com/freshface-net/freshkillerdb
- Fork the freshkillerdb repository https://help.github.com/articles/fork-a-repo
- Make changes, commit them and push them
- Send us a Pull Request https://help.github.com/articles/using-pull-requests
- Grab a cold one and wait for us to merge your changes back to the freshkillerdb repository
So… do I have to update the FreshKiller app now?
No. We have set up a simple redirect from the old serverlist.txt so all previous versions of FreshKiller are automatically compatible.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but how long after sending will a page generally be removed? Also, do I understand rightly that I will likely get an email from the host company when a page is taken down? Thanks

Depends from site to site and GMT time, could take 12-24 hours.

In that case it hasn’t worked, it’s been 2 days. What should I do, try sending again?
I have a question! How this apply to torrents sites? ...In our mini database (I mean the “serverlist.txt”) I only see sites where you can make direct downloads …It’s possible to report another kind of websites?
I also have a question. A pretty important one, I’ve read through but couldn’t see it so sorry for my indolence, but from what I understand this excellent soft sends warning emails to the warez site’s admins, right?:) Telling them they made a boo boo and stuff like that.
What happens when they won’t take that item off?coz I wouldn’t if I were them. You’re warning them that they are breaking the rules…wow…I think they are absolutely shocked when they hear that! they already know that. A better question would be why Google banned so many searches in the last few months, including conspirational stuff at times (and other non-porn related things) but they don’t block this? I think that’s the only real way of stopping this from happening over and over again.
So to sum it up, what does this soft do except from warning them? Cheers
It doesn’t send it to the site admin but the server admin, that are required by law to disable. So regardless of what the site admin wants it doesn’t really matter. Yes they can re-upload but the idea behind this is to make it impossible for them to keep the content up in the first place.
I think this is a great tool. Excellent job!

makes a bit more sense now. Thanks a lot for taking the time to explain things.
Can anybody help me find out the email addresses of these two sites’ servers? I keep getting failed but I’m not sure where I should look for the email address. Is it the contact us email address of the site?
